Good alternative to plastic.
We are trying to reduce the amount of plastic we use and these biodegradable bags seem like a good alternative to the originals. So far we've found them to be good for storing leftovers in the freezer. Although they're labeled "biodegradable," they're not meant for a backyard compost pile. They are designed for large commercial composters like the ones we have in San Francisco.
