Review on πŸ”‹ BDCDE120C 20V AutoSense Technology Cordless Drill by Michael Custodio

Great strength, balance

Great strength, balance, weight and size. That's about half the size of my Porter-Cable 18V NiMh drill bit. It even came 3/4 charged and wouldn't budge with some use. Liked the power indicator and backlit speed indicator for screwing or drilling. The light sits on the base and works adequately, but the porter cable design is better (for a drill chuck and a lot brighter). I buy this drill bit so I don't have to keep switching from screw bits to drill bits when I need to do pilot holes. While I love my Porter-Cable, due to the size and weight of this drill, it will now be my number one drill. A few years ago I bought a Black and Decker 12v drill which was a big disappointment. This one seems to be much better in terms of build quality. The time will show. Porter-Cable is about 3 years old and still works like new after many projects. Let's see if this new drill can do the same! Update: The power level hasn't changed in 3 months after using this drill a few times on light projects (I still haven't charged it past the charge it came with). I don't like the Feel technology. I like the clutch system better on other drills. Besides that, because it's so light and small, it's my favorite drill and I love it! Update: Well after using this drill a few times the power level has finally dropped to a bar. after removing some 3" screws and doing a few projects since the last post. I am blown away by this exercise! By far the best drill press I have ever owned. I just wish it didn't have an 'auto detect' feature that comes with doesn't really work with my drill I like the light weight and smooth action.
