Review on πŸ• Stop Your Dog from Pulling and Choking on Walks with the PetSafe Chic Gentle Leader Headcollar by Danielle Padilla

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I don't know why it works, but it works...

It's like magic. I'm taking my neighbor's puppy for a walk. She is only 4 months old but she is strong. During the first two walks, she kept twitching and jumping back and forth. Whenever she saw someone across the street, she would bark, stagger forward, standing on her hind legs, and choke on her collar. One day she grabbed the leash from my hand and ran outside. Good thing there were no cars. Then I remembered the flat line. The moment I put it on her, she changed. If there were people or cyclists across the street, she would just sit there and look at them. I think that's what beagles love. But when people come to her side of the pavement, she still wants to interact with them, so she's still trying to jump and pull. But we are working on it. She knows how to sit on command, so I try to just sit when they show up. This is a lesson. But it makes walking more comfortable EXCEPT today she decided to just lie down and not move because she doesn't like the part around her nose. I work in "come" so we'll see. Luckily she weighs about 10 pounds so I can easily pick her up and take her home. I didn't know beagles had heads like that.

Pros
  • It's all right!
Cons
  • Little things
