This is the second unit of this type that I have purchased. I have one at work, now one at home. You make my life a lot easier. Before I bought the first one, I didn't realize the amount of frustration and time I wasted plugging and unplugging peripherals. Now everything is in one place and you don't have to search for anything. I even have a cordless phone charger, both at home and at work. I connected my wireless mouse, wireless charging pad, headphones, and external storage with my music (I take it to and from work). Also, the black and white braided cable is my iPad. I didn't have any connection problems. I also used the VGA port during meetings for educational purposes.
