Like a "Swiss Army Knife " - handy

I look at it like a Swiss Army Knife or a baseball. I have a laptop with only 2 ports and if one is used for power only 1 port is available for everything else. For security reasons I prefer an Ethernet DSL connection (too many wireless networks were detected including one called Big Virus) and this hub can support that and read memory cards and external devices. No more searching for cables. Plug and Play

This is the second unit of this type that I have purchased. I have one at work, now one at home. You make my life a lot easier. Before I bought the first one, I didn't realize the amount of frustration and time I wasted plugging and unplugging peripherals. Solid hub that stays cool

First I checked all the connections. Everything worked and all cables fit. The adapter cable is thick and fits well with the ports on my MacBook. The hub appears to be aluminum. I've used a few of them before they get hot if you use them for a long time. However, I edited a few photos on the attached drive, and while it did get hot (as you'd expect), it never got hot. Good docking station for Lenovo C740

I needed a docking station for my new C740 so I could get an extended monitor display while still working on my laptop. Lenovo docking stations cost over $200 and I didn't intend to spend that much money. This compact USB-C hub/dongle works great. I liked that this was a light weight travel station and a good price. Connection hole for AC power adapter, but the power adapter is not included. Trying to get an exact match is difficult (hard to figure out what hole size, volts and amps you're looking for in an adapter so it will provide enough power but not fry electronics, etc.) and expensive (retail). Almost Perfect: Computers & Accessories

I got this for my work MacBook Pro (2018 15 inch). I use it on both MacOS Mojave and Windows 10 (with BootCamp) I've been using it for about 9 months now and it's almost perfect.
