With this adapter I easily connect my Garmin GPS to the adapter's cigarette lighter and other devices to three USB sockets. One of the valuable features of this adapter is a voltmeter. My car was in the garage for a while, the voltmeter showed a low voltage to start the car and it was correct, the car wouldn't start. I started the car and was able to monitor the battery voltage while charging. As soon as the voltage was 12.5 volts, I was able to start the car. The adapter is a little pricey, but it's well built and does the job perfectly. I now have three of these adapters with my last purchase. If you use devices in your car like a GPS device, mobile phones, tablets, etc., this is a great purchase for you.
