I used one of these to fix my PS4 launch version which was having terrible signal loss and bad internet and controller connections. The product has definitely made a noticeable improvement in connectivity and range. My PS4 would disconnect the controller or lag way behind if there was literally something between the controller and the PS4. The WiFi signal was also very weak and dropped frequently. I will say this was a clear improvement and now I always have 100% wifi signal but still have occasional lag with controllers so this will help but it won't be as good as the PS4 Pro which is much better wireless is. an adapter that can also intercept 5G networks. I chose them because they are 8 dbi, adjustable and still quite small so as not to look ridiculous on my PS4. and take off the ugly antenna that comes with it, then draw a line around the hard drive and drill a hole in the plastic on the side of the ps4, then put a screw and washer on the outside. After replacing the plastic cover, screw the antenna onto it and tilt it as you would like to reach it better. and give you permission with other objects. They are highly adjustable which is good for standing or laying flat systems. There are few areas that have the right amount of space and can fit in well.
