A fairly basic and mediocre blender. I have a great Kitchen Aid blender, very powerful. I think you could crush rocks with it! I bought Hamilton Beach because I thought it would be smaller than the Kitchen Aid (unfortunately it's only slightly smaller) and because of the food processor function. I enjoy smoothies in the morning and the Nutra Ninja I used was a total nuisance - it was difficult to open and close and leaked often if not "just like that". Incidentally, I don't have a problem with dexterity - placing a closed container of ice cubes and gooey ingredients (like fruit and yogurt) upside down in a blender block just isn't a very viable idea. I finally left Nutra Ninja. The Hamilton Beach is great for making smoothies but is just as difficult to clean as any blender I've used. It doesn't crush ice well and takes time to crush most foods. I haven't tried the kitchen attachment - I would only use it occasionally anyway. In this case you get what you pay for. It was reasonably priced and works exactly as you would expect. I don't like giving bad reviews - depending on what you're using it for, this may or may not be perfectly adequate.
