UPDATED 2 STAR RATING: Bought a second one so my son can read at night. After a few months of use, one of them stopped charging and the other couldn't stay bright enough to read for more than an hour. Now I don't need them anymore. :(----------- ORIGINAL REVIEW, 5 STARS: I can't believe they are so cheap! It's amazingly bright, even on the lowest setting, but not so bright that my partner sees it gets in the way when reading.in bed.haven't tried it with a regular paper book but works great with my kindle DX.runs for a couple of nights before needing a recharge.appreciate that it charges via USB and that there are no problems with batteries !
