I recently adopted a dog and he has not been house trained and has had behavior problems. I tried many study methods and nothing seemed to work for him until I started using these. There are three different training modes that train him very effectively. There is a sound mode that verbally warns the dog. then there is the vibrate mode which is a clearer warning and the dog will know if it needs to correct its behavior. Then there is a shock mode that does not harm the dog at all. This mode fires a short shot that lets the dog know there is something wrong with their behavior. The dog will begin to associate bad behavior with shock and will refrain from such behavior. The remote works over long distances so I don't have to worry about being close. I like that it's waterproof, it can stay on all the time and won't be damaged by rain, snow or water. This collar has really helped me correct my dog's behavior and house train him. I am very happy that I bought it and can only recommend it!
