While these skirts are absolutely beautiful, they are quite fragile. They go very long. I'm 1.60m tall and even the little one is a few centimeters longer. The problem is that even for an experienced seamstress it is extremely difficult to shorten them due to the peculiarities of their manufacture. Most of the fabric is biased, and skirts are designed (at least on purpose I think) so that the hem is uneven. This further complicates their shortening. If you are older than five, three or four you should have no problems.
