At first glance, the Urban Republic Boys Little Ballistic Jacket Melange Sleeve Black Jacket looks sleek and stylish. Melange sleeves add a unique touch to the standard black jacket. The ballistic material also gives the product a tough look and makes you feel ready for any adventure. However, upon closer inspection, there were a few issues that prevented me from giving this jacket a higher rating. First, the landing did not fit a little. I bought size 4 for my son but it was a bit tight in some places. Also, the zipper seemed flimsy and struggled to move up and down smoothly. On the plus side, the jacket kept my son warm on a cold day and the pockets were roomy enough for him to keep his hands warm and stash a few small items. The jacket is also machine washable, which is always a plus when it comes to children's clothing. Overall, while I appreciate the style and durability of the Urban Republic Boys' Little Ballistic Jacket, fit and zipper issues prevent me from giving it a higher rating.
