Use with caution. For several months my 4 pound Maltese had very soft poo and vomited to the point where she underwent a battery of tests which not only were expensive but the dog was constantly ill. The vet told me she had liver dysfunction, but after an ultrasound and other tests, the final result was inconclusive. I used a full tube of this toothpaste and ordered another one but it took a few days to receive. During this time, she noticed that her stools were becoming hard without medication for the first time in a very long time. I threw away the tube when it arrived and now use sorbitol free toothpaste which I think made her so sick. It may be undersized, but no animal product should contain ingredients that cause loose stools in dogs. I would not use sorbitol toothpaste.
