Nonsense! They can barely handle their own weight. I won't even waste my time and effort on installing them. I can already see them flexing/flexing on every bump and touching the tire. They are also riveted to brackets in place of the bolt and nut. So there is no easy way to mod/strengthen them. I could just grab the rear fender mounting end and simulate it bouncing on moderate/intermediate terrain and see that it definitely flexes more than enough to hit the rear wheel on less severe bumps. as speed bumps and curb falls. The fender should at least cope with speed bumps and curbs without touching the tire. I also see that the point of greatest stress is right where the fender is riveted to the bracket. It will brake/fail immediately on the first few rides if contact with the tire doesn't rip it off first. They definitely won't stand up to any modest off-road driving. Smooth soccer field maybe. The manufacturer and/or designer must have thought that as long as they look good in photos and sell, they don't care if they work for their intended purpose or not. I will not even install them on a bike that I plan to sell. They would be embarrassed.
