The mount fell apart after the first use!
The part fell apart! I used this mount for my new radar detector and it worked great initially. I took it off to clean the windshield and when I tried to put it back on the little lip/lever that increases the suction fell apart. The plastic ribs on the tongue aren't strong enough to withstand the push or pull that comes with increasing suction. Now this thing is useless because it won't stay on the windshield. Money wasted and return or replacement expired because I waited too long to use it after purchase. Only used it one day!
