Review on πŸ”Œ Enhanced Performance with Cable Matters Snagless Ultra Ethernet Cables by Loren Schmidt

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Cables have short ends and will jam in many of the new Ethernet connectors

The connectors on this cable have short ends instead of long ends. Because of this change, which results in the cable taking up much less space, there is a "snag" that can be almost impossible on many newer devices without damaging the cable or the ethernet jack. This problem occurs on many new devices with an ethernet port that has any value, such as e.g. laptops. However, this problem does not exist with lower quality devices such as routers, switches, etc. I would avoid these new "non-hooking" and "compact" cable types and use the older "long nose" versions instead. I have no problems. .

Pros
  • Ethernet Cable
Cons
  • boring packaging
