My cats (3) got rid of it easily. I also think cats don't like the feel of the whole vest on their body. But I found that adding a collar would be better than a vest type - I've tried a few of those too. But this collar is NOT a good idea and could harm your cat if she resists. to avoid this burden. Cats/Dogs feel they cannot (they cannot) run away when on a leash and can cause discomfort and anxiety if they feel they have to run away from something on a walk and a collar around her neck is never a good idea. I've tried a few and found a harness that I think works great because it has a thin, adjustable harness buckle around the body - a lighter feel for the cat - and it's not the neck/neck, it's the chest and gets tighter (on the chest but not a bad neck) when they try to escape, and it's adjustable and has a bungee leash (I tied the bungee leash to a 20ft lightweight cotton dog training leash to allow for more freedom of movement consists.
