The hat itself is of good quality and thoughtful material. The ponytail opening is stretchy to accommodate thicker hair. Looks good. Unfortunately it doesn't fit my child properly. The width fits, but runs small. The listing says they are suitable for under 10s but my daughter is 4 and under and they do not fit over the ears. Probably not suitable for an older child. We slipped in it and I had to buy her another hat because her ears were red and cold. Good idea, bad execution. save your money
