Pros - large, easy to read - reroutes routes quickly Cons ----- almost impossible to see in bright sunlight (my biggest complaint about not being able to see the map is it just a 4x7 inch ornament) ---- there is no way to send addresses from my phone to the device (although they claim you can, there is nowhere to look up an address in a very basic app be able). There is a web browser feature that is slow and then still finds the street in my city. or a country, or even a continent. I'm not in the Eurozone, why am I getting addresses for places in France? ------ Does not always display the name of nearby streets. Most of the time I just use my GPS as a map and to look up the names of the nearest streets long before I could ever hope to read a sign, especially at night. I've often noticed that the streets near me (and they're almost always the ones I'm looking for) don't appear on the device. it's hit or miss, although I've noticed. ------ The new UI is terrible. You used to tap anywhere on the map to bring up a menu to search for something, now it's a small icon in the bottom left of the screen. Why was the clock removed? ----- Malnutrition. It takes a long time to find the address you are looking for, when it finds it, sometimes it cannot even find it. Never had such problems with Google Maps. ---- bad keyboard and layout, why do I have to press a key to get to the numbers? It's a 6 inch device, addresses start with numbers, give me a numeric keypad or a dedicated number pad (if I can't use a better keyboard I can just use it on my phone to send the address)--- - NO vote control? Yes, I know it's a high-end unit, but if it's anything like a version of my last volume, the one I liked (and from what I've read) was still unusable, which made me gets me to use Google Maps again. Conclusion: I'm sending it back because it's not worth the money. If it was half the price (let's say in the 40-60 range) I could solve a lot of problems, but at over $100 it would be a waste of money for me and my driving conditions, habits and locations. Instead, I will invest the refund in a new mount for my GPS and a charger for my phone so I can use Google Maps with less impact on battery life.
