If you're looking for an inexpensive pair of white speakers that look good and don't take up much desk space, these might be for you. Overall B/B+. These speakers sound really good at low volumes. Very good soundstage at high frequencies. Perfect for the desktop where you don't need a lot of volume or bass. I recommend using a software equalizer (or some sort of tone control) to tune the sound to your liking. I have my MacBook Pro and a turntable preamp running through these speakers. As long as you don't turn up the volume you should be fine, but as soon as you want a little more volume you'll probably benefit from the equalizer, otherwise you'll likely experience distortion. Plug and play because they are, and the tone controls give you some flexibility. I just feel that the sound could be improved with a little extra EQ. Don't expect a lot of volume or bass from these speakers, but for everyday desktop speakers, they're well worth the price.
