Cheap Men's Gloves

When I first put these gloves on I was appalled at how cheap they looked. Threads were sticking out everywhere, and the gloves had horrible white padding that made them totally unsuitable for wearing in public. They weren't even nylon as advertised. If something changes, this is a copy-paste of the product description. Product Description Made from 100% nylon. One size with button closure. 9 inches long, 3 inches wide. Thin, soft and stretchy material. Hand wash only. Available in white. Just import it. Until the missing dot at the end. When I received these gloves, they came in a plastic box from a dollar store with the stereotypical cheap Chinese cardboard label pinned to the plastic. With a little suspicion, I opened the box and checked the label on the glove. Here is the exact information I saw. ITEM NUMBER: 8108100% POLYESTERON SIZE FITS MOST. Before, I wasn't surprised that it actually came from China. The material was thin as advertised, but it wasn't nylon. Maybe they mislabel Amazon ads. as soon as I put it on. As for the stretch, they stretch sideways, maybe an inch and a half, but I could get my finger to stretch a maximum of about a quarter inch longer. The size was surprisingly good for my petite little girl hands. (I'm a male) but they don't fucking suit most (maybe in China it might be). On the scale of men's gloves I would say they are about X-SMALL which can go up to SMALL or maybe, just maybe, MEDIUM. The fit wasn't what you would call comfortable, at least for me, and the gloves just bunched up and hung there. If I had padded arms the fit might be better but they fit me loosely. They extend an inch at the wrist. The material is too thin for the included clasp and if you're not careful it could break there. The lid is also an ugly ivory colour. I am disappointed in these gloves. Granted, they only cost $5, but heck, they couldn't even be bearably worn in public like gloves for Halloween costumes. Looking back at those ugly gloves reminded me that sometimes things can be fixed to an extent, so I turned them over to see if there was anything that could be done. I found that they weren't well made at all and the seams had enormous excess which caused white fabric to build up inside, so I went ahead and trimmed off as much excess as I could without ruining the gloves. 10 or minutes of painstaking work got me the best pair of gloves that were fine when put on. I still wouldn't wear them in public, for personal use they are of decent quality. (I wanted to use them for reading so as not to smudge or pucker the edges of the pages from the sweat often caused by the Florida heat). After a bit of work and maybe some misunderstanding, I had a pair of useful gloves to use for my own purposes. However, they weren't what I thought they were and I wouldn't buy these gloves again, but for $10 (shipping on those $5 gloves costs another $5) they might be good for your purposes. In general, two-star gloves.
