I installed this in a 16 inch diameter wall clock. They worked for 6 months without a single hit. I ordered this high torque version because I was having trouble getting the other two gears to work. for a few weeks than wasting time and then quitting. I now think that I've probably been guilty in the past of over-tightening the nut that holds the movement to the dial. After reading some other reviews. I was more careful this time. and the results were great. Now I sometimes think that high torque is sometimes like advertising a powerful digital zoom in a cheap camera. I ordered this for the high torque and probably could have been more careful not to overdo it in the past. tighten the nut of the dial mechanism I definitely recommend it and I am very satisfied!
