This mount is just about perfect. The reason I say "almost" is because my cars don't have Apple CarPlay Wireless, otherwise this product would be absolutely perfect as a wireless charger. It is NOT recommended to use plug-in and wireless charging at the same time. So the 16mm gap at the bottom is designed to accommodate any charging cable and in my case an Apple CarPlay connection. I installed mine on the other side of the passenger side air vent. It does not block buttons, controls or buttons on the screen or air system. I installed it as far off center as possible so I can adjust the direction and angle of the vent. The air blows normally, if at all the passenger may notice that the air is directed a little more towards them due to the size and angle of my 12-Pro Max. The 3-point hook attachment is absolutely perfect. He is strong and solid. Shows no signs of weakness against my large heavy iPhone 12-Pro Max. It doesn't shake or vibrate. It doesn't tilt or tilt while driving. It stays exactly where I want it while driving. Included is a second hookless mount, similar to a pocket clip with chips. I suspect it's due to the very odd shape of the vents. The clip is strong and secure, but has nothing in common with a 3-point attachment with an adjustable hook. The best part is that the credit belongs to Apple. My phone unlocks with Face ID even when mounted entirely on the other side of the center console. Very neat and simple. If your car has Apple CarPlay or Android Auto Wireless, skip that and buy a wireless charging mount. This mount is ideal for vehicles that require a wired connection for charging and/or a wired connection for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also looks sexy. Complements my dark interior very well and fits perfectly into the night. I'm a car enthusiast so the carbon fiber pattern has become my home and compliments the real carbon fiber already in place. Looks real and luxurious.
