I have an HP Envy 4502 and use it very rarely. Usually several pages per month. If I don't run the test page once a week, the HP ink cartridges will dry out. So $60 for official new HP parts is pretty expensive for a handful of prints a year. I bought this pair hoping that something would be better than what I was doing. Two cassettes are inserted and played normally. Thank you Retch My only suggestion, I hope Retch reads this, is that the printheads are sealed when shipped. With the B/W cartridge, this seal is conspicuous and can be easily removed. The color cartridge is not so obvious. In fact, I thought there was no seal and put the cartridge in without removing the seal. The printer, of course, said everything was fine, but there was no color printing. After some reinstallation and inspection through a magnifying glass, it became apparent that I didn't see the gaskets. It took tweezers to remove and color printing worked fine after that.
