Bolt and nut good, pipe OK

Bolt and nut good, pipe OK. The problem is that the top and bottom plates are flimsy and flimsy and will deform and break under pressure. We machined new plates for the bolt side from 1/4" sheet steel. Just drill a 5/8 hole in the plate. They then work without deforming and crushing the stamped steel bladder. We also used molybdenum grease to grease the threads and the To lubricate the top plate threaded hole. We were able to reinforce the house using a large adjustable wrench and pipe for leverage. For the type of elevator you're probably looking for this can be a problem and if an inspector sees a crumpled plate, That's not good either. Installing more jacks closer together will reduce the stress on each jack. For the new joists we used 2 x 10 xXX wooden planks that were folded in thirds. So these jacks will be installed on the concrete block bases and press the new joists to hold the sagging 2x10 floor joists.
