Square Hole Hover is wrong

Ok guys if you're like me I read the 5 star reviews and thought 'What a great idea, easier and cheaper than replacing hinges! " Not so fast! Blum has revised its support hinges and now only works with "new" design hinges. As I said, not easy - look at the cup (the part that goes into the cupboard door) - the new hinges have a full circle (a semi-circle extruded into the raised (screw) part of the cup. See photo from my "old" hinge "design"" - there is no embossed circle on the cup. The difference is that inside the square hole on the inside of the back there is a raised obstacle (attachment for the rear adjustment screw on the hinge assembly) - This internal obstruction just behind the square hole keeps small hooks on the mounting clip from landing. Well, what's even crazier - just twist the clip where the piston is pointing backwards (wrong way) - er snaps a spell in. As we say in the Navy, Blum had a 50/50 that it didn't fail (we sometimes use another word for failure) and you know what - their engineers did failed if they had just reversed the design of their mounting base ( hook/compression spring swapped and yes it holds up very well even though the hooks face forward) - would work with all square hole loops they make, not just the new style. So 5 stars for the workmanship, zero stars for Blum's idiotic engineers and 1.5 stars for the seller's poor orientation (not all square holes are created equal). Up to 2 stars on average. Okay, wrap it up and send it back to Revain. Hopefully some of you will mark this review as helpful to keep it on the top of the stack so future buyers don't make the same mistake I made thinking everything was fine. holes are the same.
