The printer itself works but the wifi and app are completely unusable. To say it has wifi would be a mistake so I give it 3 stars. I also love the auto-leveling feature, the enclosed build area, and the relatively easy removal of the magnetic build plate. There is no useful documentation for people new to 3D printing, which seems like an oversight. At the same time, the cadet worked right out of the box. Unlike other printers in this price range, no assembly is required. My kids ages 10 and 7 use it all the time. You can use it without my help. The benefit of a smaller build volume is that they can't use insane amounts of thread without my knowledge. You need a spool of filament if you have a 0.5-1kg spool. Built in is useless. I created a filament film using Kinect parts in about five minutes. While I would like a larger print volume for me, for kids I like the smaller size, the offline print space and the fact that they can use it without me. Yes, a larger print area and heated bed would be great, but for kids who use PLA filament safely, it seems like a good compromise. It would be better if it could actually print over Wi-Fi.
