I didn't know what to expect from these towels but they are perfect! I thought I needed 100% cotton towels as I thought cotton would be more absorbent than polyester but they didn't disappoint. They are a nice mid to heavy weight fabric and have a slightly "grainy" texture so are not slippery. We used them for Thanksgiving dinner and they cleaned up nicely afterwards. I can't even say they have been used! Plus, they don't crease easily! They sat in my dryer for several hours before I took them out and I don't think they need ironing before next use. I'm so happy with them I'll be ordering more in other colors, although I have to say the black is great at hiding food stains! I am attaching a photo showing some of the fabric structure.
