Not very happy with amp

The first time I plugged in a new 10" Scar Audio Sub at 2 ohms, it fried it in less than a minute at half the gain and half the volume of the main unit. The speaker became Rated for a maximum output of 2000 W. I've had old speaker power amps and they've always been happy with them.
