I am very impressed with these RedLine bonnet stays. The kit is well made and comes with very good installation instructions, printed clearly and in colour. The 4 stars for the installation of the kit is due to the fact that the installation requires two special tools: 1. Punch tool and 2. 3/16 rivet tool. Installing the kit took about an hour, with the longest part taking time to triple-check the dimensions of the holes to be drilled. I used Toyota genuine clear coat to protect all the drill holes and then used the included 3/16 rivets to attach the hangers to the hood and chassis. Again, the instructions are very well written, clearly explaining the steps, and are printed in full color laser. Once installed the stays hold the hood firmly in place and I love how the hood falls gently when you push down and then zips closed - no more hood slamming. The only thing I wish it didn't come with was a RedLine Performance decal. This is a great mod for your 3rd gen Tacoma - highly recommend!
