The assembly is quick and easy, even for a layman. The only tool you need is a small Phillips screwdriver to insert four AAA batteries. Everything else fits. The fabric seat and hanging toys can be easily removed for washing. The instruction book is helpful and easy to use. The controls are all together and intuitive, with a speed dial, a timer and a button to play/pause the music, the first two with indicator lights, as well as a slide button to lock the swing. There are large gray release buttons on each side to unlock the swing for folding when not in use.
