I own several Tekton products that are mid-range in both price and quality, so I only choose them for occasional use tools that shouldn't be family heirlooms . Other than that, these tarp clips are the BEST I've ever used. They stay in place, hold tight and don't tear the tarpaulin. I recommend them unreservedly. If you are wondering I bought these to make rain bow ties for me and my brother. We were going camping for a few days and wanted to sleep in hammocks. When I bought a rain cover for a hammock, I was overwhelmed by the prices. Instead of buying a bow tie, I bought each of us a tarp, paracord, some tarp clips, and used tent pegs to secure the lines to the ground. It worked great and cost half the price of the rain flies.
