TEKTON 6268 Tarp Clips: 🔒 A Reliable, 4-Piece Solution (Original Version) Review

This type of tarp clip is the best I've found. Don't waste your money on the ones that look like this but have a slider to block them. They can't be tightened that tight. Stupid 2 dividers with a disc that you put on one side of a tarp and then put a ring of hooks on the outside is a joke. If you want tarp clips that will hold in place even in high winds or tight tarps, get this guy.

I needed to find a lightweight BMW car cover for my 325i. The trade winds make the Hawaiian Islands a cool and comfortable paradise. Not much for a car cover. INSTALLATION TIP: This is the fourth type of these clips I've used and they are MUCH better than I've used them. The only way they ended up working is when I installed them I folded the tarp and stuck a small piece of wooden dowel into the inside of the fold, wedged it over the fold and then tightened it. I used to have to reinstall the tarps every few weeks but since I got them and installed them with wooden dowels I haven't had to touch them and that's been a few months now.
