If you're looking for durable black kraft paper, this is a great option. The color is a rich black, not faded at all. The texture is quite dense but a bit more flexible. than some other maps I've worked with. It has the thickness and flexibility of 2 ply thick paper. It is matte and has a slightly rough texture, not entirely smooth. Again, the texture is more like heavy paper than regular cardboard. Overall it will definitely work for what I was hoping to use it for - as a background for construction paper owls. There will also be some awesome window bats for Halloween! :)
