The best thing about crib notes is that it allows you to create your own templates where you can add or remove fields as needed. You also have many options in terms of how to structure things which makes it easy to customize to suit your needs. We used crib notes for our birth documentation system at my last hospital job but when we moved jobs I had to start over from scratch with another product. There are some features missing like adding photos (you can upload them though). Also there was no way to attach documents/files directly within crib notes. Make sure you try out different products before making any decisions because they all do similar but not identical things. Creating electronic medical records has made keeping track of patient information much easier since everything is stored digitally now instead of having paper copies lying around everywhere.
