I switched from passive 3D on TVs to active 3D on projectors, notably the Epson 2150. It doesn't come with Epson glasses so have I naturally looked for an established choice. A couple of reviews led me to Panasonic's TYER3D4MU active goggles, ostensibly for the brightest viewing experience, but it was definitely worth the horrible ghosting. Keep in mind that I store most of my 3D files in SBS or OU format on a media server if that would affect image consistency in the active 3D scene. Anyway, I used Panny for a few weeks but couldn't stand xsstalk and decided to try Samsung's well-received SSD-5150G. Well that was good. One thing I worried about was the non-rechargeable battery, but it actually exceeded my expectations. The picture looked fine, a little darker but there was less crosstalk but it was still there. So far, the modular design of Sammy's detachable arms has failed miserably. First an arm broke when my girlfriend accidentally tried to bake it and ended up breaking an arm just out of frame when I put her on. For the third time I decided to try Scarlet Heaven. The best purchase I've made in a long time. The set of two arrived in a very handy zip-lock box with several soft cleaning cloths, soft cases and charging cables. The glasses fit perfectly and are unmatched by any 3D glasses I've tried before. The soft red coating is very reassuring and the glasses weigh next to nothing. watched ok 4 hours of 3D and the batteries are still dead. Pairing, switching on/off is very easy and user-friendly. Finally, the picture is better than my previous passive OLED C6 3D. The projector cannot deliver the contrast of an OLED screen, but can produce an equally impressive 3D image when paired with Scarlet Heaven 3D glasses. It literally felt like watching a completely different movie. I noticed minimal or almost no crosstalk, while my friend immediately pointed out how much deeper and more colorful everything was. Thank you Scarlet Heaven for keeping my big 3D screen alive and bright at home! Will definitely buy again!
