I ordered 2 of these spindles and got them today 7/23/18 at 9am as others have already written in the reviews; even if the seller doesn't notice BUT they SHOULD come dry and (MANDATORY) be lubricated (HE AND IT TAKES A LOT OF LUBRICANT) if you want them to last a while so if you don't like the smell of overheated metal on metal, I suggest lubricating them, which I have no problem with. However, I also suggest doing this before installing or even lubricating them and the reason for the 1 star (trust me I would give negative stars if possible) is where I really struggle when it comes to cheap POS oiler / cert goes (which looks like it might be brass?)! Anyway, the first fitting/zero broke when pouring grease after about 5 pumps, the end popped, and yes I supported it with my hand AND no there was no pressure, weight or anything the grease gun hit the fitting pressed in a different way. as the end on how it should be when you smear something through a faucet or grain. After searching all day and contacting several people in 2 different cities at Lowe's, SEVERAL auto parts stores, small motor repair shops and even Fastenal (which seems to have a billion types of fasts of all kinds) we found out that the size was an M8 , but nobody had one that worked. Finally at 5:00pm at Harbor Freight an hour away they say I found some and replaced the original POS fittings back with m8 fittings found in 2 different cities only at Harbor Freight in metric packs, and i had to cut them. some weed at 6:00 p.m., finally. FYI the original fitting/cert appears to have lead threads and Lowe's manual shows that it also fits the 5/16 lead thread connection; HOWEVER at Fastenal we tried the 5/16 travel threaded studs they had and they didn't fit. After searching every possible place to get them in two different cities, the only place I could find them was at Harbor Freight in metric packaging. The only replacement 50 miles away was SPT so I'm pretty sure I've voided any warranty from the seller POS Give on this POS spindle! So remember, if you buy this spindle, it's costing me; time = ALL DAY, Gas = $50.00 and Aggregation = which can't be rated, all BECAUSE of the POS fitment, I can only hope and pray that the spindles themselves are made of better materials!
