Partially works best in vacuum cleaners

The vacuum cleaner may turn on again, but will stay on as long as the battery is on. May be too long or too stiff to hold the battery down. The vacuum cleaner will stop when you charge it. I've tried taking it out again to compare to the old one, or sanding the piece down to a size that works, but it seems stuck there now.
