Stop the buzz! in Surge Protector

I installed a new subwoofer with a home theater system. A 60-bar hum came from the subwoofer while the satellite box was connected to the receiver. Obviously there were some grounding issues. I inserted a ground loop isolator between the incoming satellite link and the satellite receiver. He did exactly what he had to do. The sub stopped beeping. Great piece!
