I like this design for its size, shape and handle as part of the lid design. There are a few things I don't care about but that gets a 4. - The design of the lid is a little different and the position of the hole in the lid is small so even with a full mug you have to lift the lid further than necessary for the liquid to reach the hole. The flap part, which folds back to cover the opening, does not stay open when the mug is tilted and lands on the nose. No pressure to force it to latch onto the lid's edge could prevent it from tipping over. What also doesn't impress me is that the spacer ring is quite thin and according to the instructions it should be removed with every wash. I'm not sure how durable this important element will be over time.
