I decided to order these as other writable DVDs were much more expensive for half a blank DVD. I think it's a great value! I have already tested one of these on my VHS/DVD recorder and it worked great and the quality was like a well known brand! The only thing I would notice is that it's not actually on the spindle. It's a stack of blank DVDs wrapped in plastic. If you peel off the plastic, the DVD tower will collapse. You need to find something to put blank DVDs in. I placed them in Rubbermaid's shoebox-sized plastic container in two stacks with the wrapper in the center so they wouldn't move or get scratched. If you have an empty spindle to keep, maybe that's better. But overall a great purchase!
