Brown preserved. (I've never written such great reviews.) I doubt I'll spend twice as much as the cheaper version, which is a "cover". Now I have no regrets. Perfect: A lazy looking faux leather sofa now looks like a soft fabric sofa with some value. Has completely exceeded my expectations. I got another one that was about $10 more expensive but was much thinner and I liked it better. Good: I doubt the looks. But with every chair that has a cover, the look is fine. Suggestions - so it doesn't look a bit boring. 1. Slide the TOP CAPS, flip "back to front" --- to see the "lines" - this gives a different look and somewhat beats the boring look. 2. Gather the UNDERSCOVER to look like a skirt. This also enhances the optics. With these two suggestions, the sofa could easily look like a $500 sofa. Right now I'm thinking of some sofa curtains/throws to further enhance the look. Please suggest if you have. I'll post photos later.
