I work at my desk most of the time and my 2018 15" Macbook Pro is connected to an external keyboard, mouse and display. Arm mount (not RevainBasics) , with an external display on one of the arms, and the other arm is still floating, waiting for me to buy such a tablet. I don't print on a laptop. I've seen a lot of reviews saying I didn't like them, that the laptop sways while typing. This is most likely a problem with the stand, not the tablet. I do not recommend this product for people who prefer to type on a laptop rather than a separate keyboard. I really like that I can use my laptop I can now position it higher so my two screens are closer together I can keep my eyes straight while I work and it made it a lot more valuable to have a second monitor. I worked almost exclusively on the external monitor and the laptop sat on the blank screen side most of the time. Having only had it a day, I'm already using my laptop screen a lot more when connected. That's exactly what I wanted! The laptop seems to be running a little cooler so I can't hear the fans as much compared to when it's resting on my hardwood desk. I highly recommend using some sort of docking station. I use a Thunderbolt dock that provides power and connectivity over a single cable, so I just put my laptop on a shelf, plug in a cable, and that's it. I think there is one real disadvantage. That's not a problem with this product, but rather with the whole idea of putting a laptop on a stand attached to a spring-loaded arm: when I remove the laptop from the tray (almost a daily occurrence), the mount is off its normal weight and it rises to its highest position and then when I put my laptop on it I have to put it back in the position I like. It's not a big problem and I'll definitely keep this product, but it's a minor annoyance that I wasn't expecting before I bought it. I'm going to add some extra weight to the bottom of the tray to hold it in place.
