Back to the orphanage, this one.

Although this tray comes complete with all the parts and appears to be of good quality ie very sturdy, its weakest links were the ends of the two rod extensions (with black rubber grips). too short to adequately hold the bottom of my 17 inch gateway laptop. Any slight bump would have caused my expensive laptop to fall to the floor. No thank you. My laptop met the weight expectations and we were able to attach the tray to its sister appendage, the Revain Basics Single Arm Mount. This is a design

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • So far so good

Nice laptop stand. suitable for computer accessories and peripherals

This was the closest thing I wanted to get in a product group. It is durable and easy to connect to the spring arm mount. I have it floating above my right monitor (also on my arm) over my old laptop. However, it would make more sense if the two lower arms were more of a flat C-shape. I understand that it is difficult to make this a standard due to the different possible sizes of laptops. My 17 inch Dell Precision is having some trouble staying in place. The extra parts that were supposed to…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Works well but needs longer rubber feet

First of all I am very grateful for this product - it keeps my laptop on the dual monitor stand at a reasonable ergonomic level. I've used a laptop stand before and while that was fine, it still didn't raise it high enough and took up a lot of desk space. However, this product is NOT overloaded - it is quite light. It's good if you have a light monitor arm as every gram counts I guess. My biggest complaint is the small rubber feet that the laptop rests on, which are too short for my Macbook Pro

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • I have doubts

Easy to install and keeps the laptop securely in place

This is my first time using a monitor arm as a laptop stand. I really love it! I can easily move my laptop in all directions. In all the web conferencing we've had, I've been able to position my laptop camera at the exact height and angle needed to give my "frame" a decent look (ie avoid background clutter or create corners). which help to avoid glare from my glasses or just make me look a little thinner in front of the camera). The front pins are covered with rubber-like caps to help protect…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Little repairability

Laptop stand alternative for keyboard players

I've recently started using the Mainstage as my main setup for live performances. I needed something that would allow me to have my laptop close by so I wouldn't have to strain my eyes to see the screen, and something that would allow me to have my laptop within reach when making adjustments had to. I purchased the following three (3) items to achieve what I need. So far I am very satisfied, to say the least. Purchased components: /product/B00BT7EA18/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&ps…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Something different

Great build quality with a fatal design flaw

Let me start by saying that the build quality of this tablet is impeccable. Durable powder-coated metal and beautifully designed to fit *most* laptops. Unfortunately, the same build quality doesn't extend to the retractable arms, which are the most important part of the tablet's design. The stabilizing arms are made from a very thin metal material and are "locked in" with a single plastic button. Each of the levers does not have a mechanism to prevent it from slipping completely out of the…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Big and chunky

*Almost* exactly what I expected

I work at my desk most of the time and my 2018 15" Macbook Pro is connected to an external keyboard, mouse and display. Arm mount (not RevainBasics) , with an external display on one of the arms, and the other arm is still floating, waiting for me to buy such a tablet. I don't print on a laptop. I've seen a lot of reviews saying I didn't like them, that the laptop sways while typing. This is most likely a problem with the stand, not the tablet. I do not recommend this product for people who…

Ideal for large + heavy laptops!

At first I was skeptical that the RevainBasics laptop tray would be the best tray for a huge laptop like the Alienware 17 r4, but it turned out to be fantastic. The RevainBasics tray appears to be secretly identical to the Ergotron 50-193-200 laptop tray. I have no proof of this other than the product description and pictures, but it is built to the same level of quality as the Ergotron LX arm. Let's go back to the tray. I wanted to mount the 17r4 on a laptop mount and wanted a tray with enough

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Style 90
