Fell Apart and Lost 1 Piece Within Less Than Week

Just like the title stated. It fell apart in less than one week. The metal piece that is adjacent to the latch fell of. I have no clue as to where. I will need to order another one. Hope I can find a different manufacturer. Wondering if I can return this one. But I no longer have the original packaging. Returning this one is likely more trouble than it is worth.
