I used to separate my 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 from a Cummins Turbo Diesel. I chose this part because of the price and features. Every replacement part I found was a mirror image of the factory part. By that I mean the electrical connector is on the wrong side. This part has an extension and some others don't. Without an extension cord, it would be difficult, if not impossible, to reconnect the new sensor. Like the Factor part, this part comes with a metal shield to protect the sensor, while some other brands don't. At the time of writing this review, the sensor has been installed on my truck for 10 months and is still working great.
