Review on Fascinations ICONX Saint Basil's Cathedral Metal Model Kit by Josh Cardoso

I couldn't decide how to rate this model. I love the Metal Earth models but this is the first Iconx model I've made. As a model building veteran of over 30 years, I have to say that this was simultaneously the hardest, most difficult and most frustrating model I have ever built, and at the same time the most rewarding. I ended up having to buy a second one for parts because this model is very (and I can't stress this enough) VERY unrelenting - make one mistake and there's no turning back. The use of parts from the second set is almost mandatory and it can be said that this model is not worth the money. i can't argue with you On the other hand, if you can assemble it, it will also be one of the most beautiful models I have ever assembled. The etching on the metal is very meticulous and detailed and you really feel like you have accomplished something by completing it. I disagree with the age range on the packaging - it says 14 and over. I would say that this is a very technical model that only very advanced modelers should try. As a first model or even the first tin model, I would definitely not give it to anyone. In fact, I would never give it away. If anyone wants to kill this particular dragon, let them buy it themselves. High blood pressure and tooth scars on the knuckles are their own fault. he-he-he!
