Review on 🎨 ACTIVA Premium ArtPlaster Plaster 5 lbs.: High-Quality White Plaster for Crafting and Sculpting by Carrie Spencer

Strange perfume smell, may be uncomfortable for some (other patches I've bought also have this smell but not as strong). Castings are harder than regular plaster, harden faster and don't "peel" like plaster, BUT they are much more brittle. Thinner castings broke simply by lifting. Regular patch is about 1/4 the price but I had to go to several local stores to find it. So there is a lot to be said for Prime Shipping for this fancy piece. If you're wondering what the benefits are worth the extra cost, I'll probably just go back to buying some plaster from the local store, only if I can't find anything locally or have a larger project. Other reviewers said the detailing is better and it has less bubbles, I agree, it's better than plain old plaster in that regard. For my application, the additional cost is not worth it. Other reviewers said the color didn't last, I painted with cheap acrylic craft paint and it wasn't a problem. Used for diorama stone castings imitating rocks and cliffs.
