Fitting these new riser brackets to my old 430 was an easy task but closing the hood was not. I tried to press hard to close and that was a big mistake. The front hood has moved forward about half a centimeter. It turned out that the closure/compression length of this brand is longer than the manufacturer's original part. I ended up taking my car to a body shop to have the shifter fixed and spent a lot more than I bought these racks. I had to compare the compressed length of the new rack to the old before installing it. See attached picture
