Like the other reviewer - the front air conditioner in my 2007 GMC Acadia stopped working and I did enough research to believe it was the fan. Under the dash, pull out two pins (the center of the pin is pulled out with pliers - be careful not to damage them when pushing them back in during reassembly). You then loosen the old fan and rotate it to remove it. The replacement fits perfectly and my front A/C is working better than ever! The old one was so worn and rusted that the fan blade barely turned. The fan is quiet, and if it seems louder at high speeds, it's probably just because it's spinning faster than the old one (no corrosion on the new one!)
